Toshiba’s new TLP-X3000AU projector certainly isn’t a radical departure from the company’s original TLP-X3000U model, but those looking to add a little big screen action to their conference room will likely still find a few things to like, not the least of which is its new lower price. That now comes in at $1,119, which buys you a standard 1024 x 768 resolution, a less-than-impressive 400:1 contrast ratio, and a more than adequate 3,000 ANSI lumens. According to Toshiba, you should also get about 3,000 hours of use from the lamp in Eco-Mode, and you can foil potential thieves by taking advantage of the projector’s removable control panel and other theft prevention measures.
